In the year 1973 the Jordanian post issued the 2500th Anniversary of Iranian Monarchy set of 4 stamps, S.G#1018 – 1021.

Kawar Collectibles is offering a PAIR in mint never hinged unmounted condition (MNH) of the 2500th Anniversary of Iranian Monarchy 1973 set.

On these rare stamps one can see a portrait of the late King Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, a portrait of the last Shah of Iran (Persia) Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, Dome of the Rock mosque and the tomb of the founder of the Persian empire Cyrus the Great. The 4 stamps of this set have the same design with different colors and values. The values on the stamps are 5 Fils, 10 Fils, 15 Fils and 30 Fils.
